Swiss Transportation Research Conference STRC 2011

We have the pleasure to announce the call for abstracts for the 2011 Swiss Transportation Research Conference (strc.ch). The purpose of this conference is to act as a forum that brings together Swiss researchers adopting different approaches to understand transportation phenomena. As such, the conference hosts topics across a wide spectrum of investigative topics from research in transportation and land use, logistics and travel behaviour to traffic engineering and environmental impact analysis.

Three keynote speakers will give deep insights into specific areas of their research in Engineering, Economics and Geography.In the past, the STRC has been an excellent venue to get updates on the state of transportation research in Switzerland and this year will be no exception.

To submit a full paper or short paper (5000 words), please prepare an abstract no more than 1 page with a standard text processor, and submit it here. The deadline for the submission is February 10, 2011. You will be notified upon acceptance or rejection by February 25, 2011. Should you know of anyone who would be interested in the conference, please feel free to forward this announcement along to them. Thanks for that cooperation.

The submission of an abstract will be considered like a commitment. With the submission, STRC participants accept to be present during the 3 days of the conference.
