ECTS
PhD students participating to the course who need to receive ECTS credits can ask to be evaluated. The workload for the course, that is 40 periods of 45 minutes plus the work on the report for the evaluation, corresponds to 2 ECTS credits. However, note that this is an indication based on EPFL rules. It is the responsibility of each student to verify with his/her own doctoral program if these credits can indeed be awarded.
Scholarships
One full-tuition scholarship will be awarded to one outstanding PhD student. Applications must contain a complete resume and a motivation of the relevance of the course for the applicant's research. The full-tuition scholarship will be awarded to the best applicant. Other partial scholarships may be awarded to other outstanding applicants not ranked first.
