Exam

Participation in both assignments is compulsory in order to take the mid-term and final exams.
• A written exam is organized during the regular exam session in January.
• A mid-term exam is also organized (see schedule). The mid-term exam will be graded.
• The final grade will be a combination of the grade of the mid-term exam (25%) and the final exam (75%).
• The exam is in English.
• The following material are subject to examination:
  • The material in the readings;
  • The material presented during the lectures;
  • The material studied in the labs and assignments.
• The only material allowed during the exams is a handwritten summary.
  • Make sure that your name is on each page.
  • Note also that only the handwritten versions are allowed during the exam. Any printed or photocopied material will be discarded.
  • For the mid-term exam:
    • The maximum length is 2 pages (1 double-side A4 sheets or 2 single-side A4 sheets).
    • You can keep the 2 pages after the exam.
  • For the final exam:
    • The maximum length is 4 pages (2 double-side A4 sheets or 2 single-side A4 sheets).
    • You cannot keep the 4 pages after the exam. They will be handed out with the exam. Make sure to make a copy before the exam if you need to keep them.
