Exam

• A written exam is organized during the regular exam session in January.
• A mid-term exam is also organized (see schedule). It will be graded.
• The final grade will be a combination of the grade of the mid-term exam (25%) and the final exam (75%).
• The exam is in English.
• The following material are subject to examination:
  • The material in the readings;
  • The material seen during the lectures;
  • The material studied in the labs and assignments.
• The only material available during the exams is a handwritten summary.
  • Make sure that your name is on each page.
  • Note that the summaries will not be returned after the exam. So, make a copy before if you want to keep them.
  • Note also that only the handwritten versions are allowed during the exam. Any printed or photocopied material will be discarded.
  • For the mid-term exam:
    • The maximum length is 2 pages (1 double-side A4 sheets or 2 single-side A4 sheets)
  • For the final exam:
    • The 2 pages of the mid-term will be given back to you.
    • 2 more pages are allowed (1 double-side A4 sheets or 2 single-side A4 sheets)
    • In total, 4 pages are allowed for the final exam (2 pages from the mid-term exam + 2 extra pages for new material).
