| | Description :
|
| | | This project explores the use of Voronoi diagrams to spatially decompose power distribution networks for network expansion planning, in collaboration with EDF. Power sources and demand nodes are partitioned into territories according to different distance metrics. The study will compare alternative notions of distance, investigate boundary effects, and assess how the resulting decompositions can support or simplify distribution network expansion decisions.
This project is intended as a Masters thesis, but it can also be adapted into a semester project. |
